Summary/General Description of Job: The Pest Control Supervisor is primarily responsible is to direct and coordinate all activities of the Pest Control Division. There will also be the need to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

• • Plans and conducts meetings to include: establishing an agenda, prepping materials, writing minutes, etc.; works with the leadership team to define and develop effective field meetings.
  • Completes all paperwork and electronic documentation as it relates to Pest Control operations.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local laws to ensure the safe operations of hazardous materials related to our Pest Control services; enforces adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Maintains staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Directs the development, preparation, and maintenance of the necessary reports to ensure Pest Control personnel reach the required quotas; ability to establish on-call assignments and run reports of those assignments; analyzes data to determine department or division progress towards stated goals and objectives.
  • Determines yearly staffing needs; review resumes; interview candidates; make job offers; ensure candidates fit our core values.
  • Drives company vehicle throughout service area; knowledgeable about GPS and how to use a map book.
  • Regularly attends training meetings; trains co-workers in the performance of their job duties, which may include re certification.
  • Greet co-workers in a warm and friendly way while providing necessary support for field functions; communicate necessary information to staff and management about any issues that arise that may prevent them from providing services to our internal and/or external customers; take action to resolve customer issues.
  • Ability to communicate necessary information accurately and timely to service internal and external customers.
  • Operates vehicles and other equipment safely; adheres to safety protocols; reports hazards and risks; behavior contributes to a safe and secure working environment.

  Qualifications : Mandatory

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years in pest management experience & supervising a diverse workforce.
• Current certification in DOD Pest Management Program:  Core Phase, Phases 2-3, Phases 5-8.
• Knowledge of pest control requirements related to material hazards.
• Respirator certified.
• Proficiency working with Microsoft Office 2013 (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong organization and record keeping skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Possession of a driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and post offer physical/ medical clearance and drug screen.
